The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova hosted an official visit by a delegation of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on March 1–3. The delegation was led by Fabian Hamilton, Chair of the British Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
During the visit, British MPs met with Radu Marian, head of the parliamentary friendship group with the United Kingdom, and its members. The parties discussed prospects for strengthening interparliamentary dialogue and expanding bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The agenda also included meetings with Interior Minister Daniella Misail-Nichitin and Ana Revenco, Head of the Center for Strategic Communication and Countering Disinformation.
The British delegation also held discussions with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova and the Audiovisual Council of Moldova.
