State Secretary for Road Infrastructure at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development (MIDR), Nicolai Mindra, represented Moldova at European Transport Corridor meetings in Brussels. The events focused on the Rhine-Danube and Baltic Sea–Black Sea–Aegean Sea corridor. They were under the aegis of the European Commission and the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE). High-ranking officials from EU member and partner states also participated.
Participants reviewed infrastructure projects from participating countries, discussed priorities for the upcoming EU Multiannual Financial Framework, and analyzed action plans for implementing European transport network policies.
Discussions placed particular emphasis on the Rail Freight Corridors (RFC), the development of the high-speed rail network, climate-resilient infrastructure, and the strategic role of transport networks in European defense under the ReArm Europe initiative.

During the meetings, Nicolai Mindra held technical discussions with current and incoming coordinators of the European corridors. He highlighted Moldova’s key priorities for integrating national transport infrastructure into the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T), in line with the Mobility Strategy 2030.
Mindra also attended a special event marking the 20th anniversary of the European Coordinators’ work within TEN-T. The event reviewed significant achievements and outlined future development prospects for the European transport network.
