Moldova launched the new Fine Wine Guide on 24/25. Andrei Cibotaru is an international wine taster and the author of the specialized website Fine Wine.MD selected the wines featured in the guide.
The Fine Wine Guide features 50 Moldovan wines, divins, and other specialty beverages. Each winery contributes one wine to the collection. The guide presents a non-hierarchical selection of high-quality wines, including white and red, dry and sweet. It is available in both Romanian and English.
The guide includes simple snack recipes that pair well with wine for the first time. It also highlights Moldova’s four wine regions with Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status and the country’s main grape varieties.

Renowned British wine critic Robert Joseph wrote an editorial for the guide, offering insights into the global wine market and its latest trends.
Publishers have released the Fine Wine Guide for the fifth consecutive year. The National Office of Vine and Wine and the USAID Moldova “Rural Competitiveness and Resilience” project partnered on this initiative. The guide is available in Carturesti bookstores, Chișinău wine shops, and tourist guesthouses. Readers can also access the digital version on vincuvin.shop.
