The Moldovan government has approved the start of negotiations for an administrative arrangement with Slovakia to ensure social guarantees for Moldovans who have worked there.
Cristina Jandic, Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, will lead the delegation and is authorized to initial the negotiated text. The team also includes representatives from the Ministry of Labour, the National Social Insurance House, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the National Council for Determining Disabilities and Work Capacity.
“This agreement will guarantee Moldovans fair access to pensions and other social benefits, protect their rights abroad, and support their return home upon retirement,” said Labour Minister Alexei Buzu.

The arrangement will establish procedures for cooperation between institutions in both countries, including the exchange of documents and the process for determining eligibility for benefits.
