The Constitution is the supreme law of the Republic of Moldova. It was adopted on July 29, 1994, and came into force on August 27, 1994. The document consists of a preamble and 143 articles grouped into titles that cover all fundamental aspects of state organization. Key provisions include the form of government, national sovereignty and independence, and the official language. The Constitution also guarantees basic rights and freedoms, defines the structure of state power, and outlines principles of territorial autonomy.
Moldova That Unites Us
The future of our country lies in each of us. Every small step brings significant change, and the choices we make today will shape the lives of future generations. Driven by the belief that every citizen can reach their full potential and bring pride to the nation, Grupul Media Realitatea has launched the campaign “Moldova That Unites Us.”
Through this initiative, we share the stories of Moldovans who have made history and inspired us all. We highlight voices from the streets, provide updates on socio-political developments, and showcase the symbols that Moldovans carry with them—whether in their hearts or their luggage—from Lisbon to New York.
