The year 2026 will mark a new stage in simplifying relations between the state and the business environment, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Eugeniu Osmochescu said.
He stressed that the authorities aim to move all procedures related to starting a business, reporting, taxes, accounting, authorizations, and customs entirely online, while paperwork and in person visits will become exceptions.
The government is implementing the Economy Without Barriers concept, which предусматривает full digitalization of administrative processes and a sharp reduction in bureaucratic requirements. Under this approach, entrepreneurs will complete all key procedures online.
The authorities are also adopting quarterly debureaucratization packages aligned with European standards. At the same time, they are introducing digital solutions such as advanced electronic identity, eNotary services, eKYC tools, and a universal digital signature.
The Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization has previously promoted several debureaucratization and business facilitation packages, which authorities say have generated significant savings for entrepreneurs.
The government and parliament approved the latest debureaucratization package at the end of 2025. It simplifies procedures for issuing 26 permissive acts, reduces the number of required documents and conditions, introduces digital solutions, extends the validity period of permits, and shortens issuance times.
