By the end of June 2025, the Republic of Moldova will introduce a new model for vehicle registration certificates.
The updated certificate will include the vehicle’s year of manufacture and the date of its first registration. The document will comply with all technical and security standards, incorporating advanced measures to prevent counterfeiting and forgery.
Introducing the new model will not affect the status of existing certificates. All previously issued vehicle registration documents will remain valid and do not require replacement. Furthermore, the cost of obtaining a registration certificate will remain unchanged.
