Moldova will receive 762 million euros for employment projects

Moldova can access financing from European funds to implement projects to improve employment and social innovation. The Commission for Foreign Policy and European Integration members have approved an agreement with the EU on Moldova’s participation in the “Employment and Social Innovation” component of the European Fund Plus.

The document will help create as many jobs as possible, ensuring social protection, combating social exclusion and poverty, and improving labor conditions. The projected budget of this component amounts to 762 million euros and will be for 2021-2027. Accordingly, legal entities from RM will be able to submit projects to receive funding. Juridical persons from Moldova will agree on the projects in direct negotiations with the European Commission.

The European Social Fund Plus is an EU instrument for investments in human capital, with a total budget of 99.3 billion euros for 2021-2027.
