Moldova will deploy a firefighting team to Greece on Monday, July 14, to help extinguish wildfires, the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (GIES) announced.
The GIES added, “We’ll hold the send-off ceremony at 7:20 AM at Regional Search and Rescue Directorate No. 1, 75/3 Alba-Iulia Street in Chisinau.”
Greece has battled wildfires for over two weeks, especially in Crete and Thassos and near Athens.
