Moldova won bronze, silver and gold medals at the archery championship in Montenegro

The archery team of the Republic of Moldova achieved outstanding results at the Balkan Championships in Montenegro, held November 7-10, 2024. Irina Cecanova is the coach who guided them, the telegraph, and MDC reports.

At the Balkan Championships, Alexandra Mirca won silver in Recurve Women, while Clima Nicoleta Clima won bronze. In Recurve Men, Dan Olaru won bronze. In Recurve Women U21, Mindru Daniela won gold, while Tisliuc Varvara and Streapunina Nikoli won silver and bronze. Savciuc Evgheni Evgheni won silver in Recurve Men U21, continuing the Moldovan team’s series of performances.

Moldovan women’s teams achieved outstanding results at the competition. The team of Alexandra Mirca, Celan Nadejda Celan, and Clima Nicoleta won silver in the Recurve Women Team, while the U21 team of Tisliuc Varvara, Streapunina Nikoli, and Mîndru Daniela achieved the same result. In the Recurve Men Team, Dan Olaru, Belici Andrei, and Sadoveanu Mihai Belici and Sadoveanu Mihai placed fourth, ending the competition with a remarkable performance.
