Moldovan athletes earned an impressive 18 medals at the Kettlebell World Championship held in Milan, Italy, standing out among competitors from 33 countries and over 700 participants.
Mihail Muntean delivered the top performance in the senior category, winning gold in both the classic and 30-minute long cycle events. Nicolai Frangu followed with a silver medal in the biathlon event.
In the para kettlebell category, Stefan Rosca, Mihail Turcan, Andrei Valentir, and Sergiu Bors secured championship titles, while Igor Bouros, Valeriu Buruian, and Oleg Raileanu earned silver medals.

Mihail Suprovici dominated the masters category with two gold medals in the biathlon and throwing events. Nicolae Birliba added a silver medal in the snatch event.
In the junior division, Iurie Donighevici claimed gold in the snatch and silver in the throwing event, while Denis Cojocaru earned bronze in the throwing event.
The youngest Moldovan medalist, Alexandru Zibritchi, won gold in the snatch and silver in the 30-minute cycle in the junior 14–15 age group.
These results underscore Moldova’s growing strength and international reputation in kettlebell lifting.
