The Moldovan community in Norway proudly showcased Moldova’s rich culture and traditions at the Verdensfolk Festival 2025—one of Norway’s largest multicultural events, bringing together representatives from over 45 nations.
Through the efforts of the Children in Norway Association of Art and Culture for Romanian-Speaking Children, participants offered the public an engaging display of Moldova’s cultural heritage. Highlights included a parade of traditional costumes, captivating dance and music performances, a hands-on weaving workshop for children, and a striking visual installation—Casa Mare—designed to evoke the warm and welcoming spirit of the Moldovan village.
Children played a central role throughout the festivities. Dressed in traditional attire, they danced, painted, and used creativity to promote Moldova’s identity and cultural values.
