Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister and Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister discussed enhancing Moldovan exports, attracting Saudi investments, and strengthening economic cooperation

At a meeting in New York, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi and Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud discussed boosting Moldovan exports and attracting Saudi investments in Moldova.

The discussions centered on strengthening bilateral relations. It focused on expanding the legal framework in areas of mutual interest, particularly economic cooperation, to increase and diversify Moldovan-Saudi trade and economic exchanges.

They also addressed regional issues and initiatives to ensure sustainable and just peace.

Deputy Prime Minister Popsoi invited Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to visit Moldova.

Popsoi is attending the high-level segment of the 79th United Nations General Assembly from September 23-27 in New York, where he will hold bilateral meetings with global counterparts, UN officials, regional organizations, and international NGOs.
