The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms the summoning of the Charge d’Affaires of the Moldovan Embassy in Moscow to the building of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
In this context, the Russian part informed the Moldovan diplomat that one of the employees of the Moldovan Embassy in Moscow has been declared persona non grata on the territory of the Russian Federation, and he must return to our country.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs regrets this decision, which is unjustified by the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961,” the Moldovan Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
