Renowned fine artist Teodor Buzu, who lives in the Czech Republic, will open his exhibition “Tratti di seta” (Silky Flight) in Venice, Italy. The event will run from December 11 to 19, 2024, at the Big Gallery of the Romanian Institute of Culture and Humanistic Research, Palazzo Correr, Cannaregio 2215.
In an interview with MOLDPRES, Buzu revealed that he will showcase 20 original works, including watercolors, silk paintings, and acrylics on canvas. The pieces selected in harmony with the gallery’s space vary in size and form.
Art critics consider Teodor Buzu one of the most talented and inspired promoters of contemporary Romanian painting abroad. He paints in various styles, including watercolor, easel painting, graphic design, porcelain, monumental art, and book illustrations.

Buzu actively participates in exhibitions across Romania and Europe. Over his career, he has joined more than 100 group exhibitions and held 87 solo shows.
He has earned numerous accolades, including being named Knight of the National Order of Romania For Merit, in the rank of Commander (2003), and winning many international awards. Recently, a presidential decree awarded him the honorific title of Master in Art.
“Tratti di seta” will highlight Buzu’s exceptional talent and lasting influence on contemporary art.
