Moldovan citizens working in Israel are being urged to consult the new Guide on the Rights of Foreign Workers – 2026 Edition, published by Israel’s Population and Immigration Authority. The guide contains updated information on the rights of foreign employees, the Embassy of Moldova in Israel said.

According to the embassy, the guide explains workers’ rights regarding the minimum wage, overtime pay, sick leave and annual leave. It also provides information on legal employment requirements and the employer’s obligation to provide workers with a detailed monthly payslip.

The guide also outlines what workers should do when changing jobs or terminating their employment contracts. It includes contact details for the relevant authorities that workers can approach if their rights are violated or if they experience abuse.

The Embassy of Moldova in Israel recommends that Moldovan citizens consult the document and familiarize themselves with their rights in the workplace.

The guide is available online through the official website of the Embassy of Moldova in Israel.
