Small and medium sized enterprises in the Republic of Moldova will receive 1.85 million euros in non reimbursable funding for technological modernization. The parliamentary committee on foreign policy approved an advisory opinion on signing the Grant Agreement between the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA) and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).

The grant will co finance investments made by at least 24 micro, small, and medium sized enterprises in energy efficient technologies. Companies will invest in new equipment, modernize or replace existing technologies, and implement renewable energy solutions. These measures aim to reduce emissions, optimize resource consumption, and generate long term environmental benefits.

Authorities will use the funds to implement the project Strong Enterprises and Communities for Moldova from December 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026. After signing, Parliament will submit the Grant Agreement between the ODA and the GIZ for ratification in a plenary session.
