Prime Minister Dorin Recean welcomed the European Union’s €1.9 billion assistance package, announcing that the government will present a detailed investment plan by next April.
“In recent days, I discussed Growth Plan projects with Gert Jan Koopman, Director General of the European Commission’s Neighbourhood and Enlargement Directorate. Today, the European Parliament approved this support facility by a majority vote. Moldova will receive €1.9 billion, with the first installment arriving by late April. It is more than just numbers on paper—it means real investments in major projects that will benefit citizens, including 3,000 km of repaired roads, 35 model schools, and industrial platforms to attract factories and create jobs,” Recean stated.
