New details in the “milliard theft” case. Tax Service froze bank accounts of Shor, Platon, Andronaki, and Kalinin

The State Tax Service decided to freeze funds / economic resources belonging to four persons, former or current citizens of the Republic of Moldova.

According to the decisions of the State Tax Service, these are six bank accounts of Ilan Shor, four accounts of Alexandru Kalinin (deprived of citizenship by a decree of President Maia Sandu), three bank accounts of Veaceslav Platon and one bank account of Vladimir Andronaca.

The decision was made by the State Tax Service based on a request submitted by Moldindconbank.

All four persons are subject to restrictions “according to the decision of the Interdepartmental Supervisory Board No. 1 of 27.12.2023, based on Article 29 of the Law on the Application of International Restrictive Measures No. 25/2016”.

Earlier, the STS blocked the accounts of Veaceslav Platon and Vladimir Andronaki in Moldova Agroindbank, as well as four bank accounts of Vladimir Plahotniuc.

In addition, the STS blocked a block of about 65,000 shares of Unibank with a nominal value of 200 lei, owned by Marina Tauber. This bank was part of the “SOR” holding, engaged in banking frauds, and is in the liquidation process.
