An absolute musical premiere is coming to the Republic of Moldova. The renowned European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO) will visit Moldova for the first time in its 50-year history, presenting an extraordinary concert to celebrate Europe Day. The event will take place at Castel Mimi on May 9.
Young musicians from all 27 EU Member States will perform on stage at Castel Mimi—the same iconic venue that hosted the European Political Community Summit two years ago, attended by 49 European leaders.
These talented instrumentalists, selected annually from over 3,000 applicants, will perform under the direction of acclaimed conductor Jakub Przybycień. Przybycień is the winner of the International Conducting Competition Rotterdam 2025 and a finalist of the Herbert von Karajan Young Conductors Award 2025.
