Moldovan and Ukrainian Authorities will Mutually Recognize Educational and Scientific Titles. The Government Prepares to Approve a Draft Decision.
Officials in Chisinau and Kyiv plan to negotiate the document with their counterparts from the neighboring country’s cabinet of ministers. After finalizing the agreement, representatives from both countries will sign it.
Moldova and Ukraine already recognize the equivalence of educational documents under an existing agreement. The new document outlines the types of documents both sides will recognize, including graduation certificates from all education levels and scientific titles.

The authorities also intend to recognize teaching degrees. They aim to facilitate specialist mobility and support Ukrainian refugees integrating into Moldova’s labor market.
According to Moldpres, members of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and European Integration expect the agreement to remain in effect indefinitely. After signing it, officials will present the agreement to Parliament for ratification.
