More than 30 Moldovan mayors participated in training sessions in Budapest, Hungary, on 9-10 September, organized by the Hungarian Diplomatic Academy in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary.
The event focused on significant topics such as European public service strategies, negotiation techniques, expansion opportunities, and the future of the European Union.
“These training sessions provide a valuable opportunity to deepen knowledge of European integration and offer a broader perspective on local community development,” stated the European Integration Bureau.

The mayors gained insights into European approaches to community development, which they can apply to their municipalities. The support of partners, including the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ Moldova), made this initiative possible.
