Parliament is set to examine the fiscal and budget policy for 2027 in its second reading. The opposition has raised several criticisms of the draft, while the PAS majority argues that the new regulations will generate state revenue and, consequently, ensure sufficient funds for salaries and pensions.
Igor Grosu revealed that more than 70 amendments had been submitted, some of which were duplicates. Meanwhile, the opposition expressed outrage that not all of its proposals had been accepted.
At the same time, opposition MPs believe the new provisions will place a greater burden on the population and businesses.
Find out what MPs think about the new fiscal and budget policy and why they will support or vote against the draft in the accompanying report.
