Energy Minister Victor Parlicov announced that discussions with Gazprom have led to an agreement on the new members’ appointment to the Moldovagaz stock company’s Administrative Board. The candidates will now undergo a repeated voting procedure.
The Energy Ministry has proposed the following candidates for the Moldovagaz Administrative Board: Dorin Junghietu as president, Vadim Ceban as deputy president, and Eduard Calancea and Radu Mandraburca as board members.
“There is consensus on these nominations, and they are now moving through the administrative procedures. The Council of Observers will meet to finalize the appointments, and we will have a functional Administrative Board,” Parlicov stated.

The Energy Minister added that they have concluded discussions about the Moldovagaz temporary leadership. “We have concluded that the nomination of a functional Administrative Board will proceed through regular procedures without additional measures,” he said.
The mandate of some Moldovagaz board members expired in June, and the Energy Ministry selected new candidates through an open competition. In mid-September, the Energy Ministry nominated Dorin Junghietu as president of the Administrative Board, but Gazprom has not yet approved the new leadership.
In light of this, Sergiu Tofilat, a member of the Moldovagaz Council of Observers, suggested that a draft law on the temporary administration of Moldovagaz could offer a viable solution.
