The Presidency inaugurated a photo exhibition marking the 35th anniversary of the Sovereignty Declaration’s adoption. The display reimagines those hopeful days through powerful images of the people who dared to believe in a better future.
President Maia Sandu invited citizens to join the March of Sovereignty on June 23, 2025, commemorating the historic milestone. Participants are expected at 19:00 at the Ion and Doina Aldea-Teodorovici monument on Alexei Mateevici Street in Chisinau.
“I invite you to the March of Sovereignty to honor the courage of our predecessors and our shared aspiration to live freely and with dignity in Moldova,” said President Maia Sandu.
