Rows of tomatoes stood right at the entrance to the garden. You went in with an empty bowl and came back with it full. Yellow tomatoes, pink ones, round and elongated ones filled the bowl. You chopped them finely, added onion, oil, and salt, and the plate burst with flavor. The tomatoes released their sweet and sour juice, and you dipped fresh bread into it. A summer lunch in the shade of the walnut tree in the yard — this is how one of the brochures received by passengers on certain flights describes the experience.

The brochure invites travelers to taste the Republic of Moldova and to watch the documentary “Flavours”, available on Netflix, to discover the country.

Several images of these promotional booklets reached the editorial office of Realitatea.md, and the Investment Agency launched the initiative.

The Agency started the campaign “Made in Moldova. For Everyone” from December 1 until the end of the year. Passengers transiting the airports of London Stansted, Milan Malpensa, Berlin Brandenburg, Warsaw Chopin, and Chisinau International Airport can discover the Republic of Moldova through export promotion banners. The campaign aims to increase the visibility of Moldovan products and services on foreign markets and to strengthen the country’s image as a competitive exporter with a diverse, quality focused offer.

One day earlier, within the same campaign, passengers in Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, and Paris received a bottle of Moldovan sparkling wine and a greeting card welcoming them to the Republic of Moldova.

“Flavours of the Republic of Moldova,” part of the latest season of “Flavours of Romania,” has been available on Netflix since September 24, 2025. Viewers can discover award winning wines, traditional cuisine, picturesque landscapes, historic wineries, wine routes, and local communities that preserve traditions and cultural values.

The National Association for Inbound and Domestic Tourism (ANTRIM) implemented the project with financial support from the Ukraine Moldova American Enterprise Fund, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova and partners Chateau Purcari, maib, the National Office of Vine and Wine, and the National Tourism Office, which supported the international promotion of the country as a tourist destination.
