Starting today, November 4th, the International Airport Chisinau will begin work to mark traffic lanes.
“In the context of reviewing road traffic in the area adjacent to the terminal, creating an efficient organizational mechanism, and improving traffic flow, we inform you that starting November 4th, work will commence to delineate traffic areas within the perimeter of Chisinau International Airport,” the airport’s statement reads.
Lane 1: Allowed for public transport vehicles and cars picking up or dropping off passengers, with a maximum stop time of 3 minutes.
Lane 2: Restricted to taxi vehicles picking up passengers on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lane 3: Designated for vehicles accessing the airport parking or exiting the airport perimeter.

“We urge everyone to respect traffic regulations. Otherwise, we reserve the right to notify the competent authorities, including the Police of the Republic of Moldova and the National Agency for Auto Transport, to ensure quality transportation services, smooth traffic flow, and safety for all travelers,” the cited source stated.
