Pieces of a rocket that were supposed to shoot down Russian drones fell in Ocnita

The Border Police of the Republic of Moldova announces that on Wednesday morning, October 16, residents of Lencauti spotted the elements of a projectile. The village is about four kilometers from the border with Ukraine.

The Border Police find the pieces of a missile in the village of Lencauti in the Ocnita rayon. According to nordnews.md, Bombteh engineers are on the scene.

The same source mentions that the “missile” of the Ukrainian anti-aircraft interception system fell at midnight.
