Plahotniuc and Tutu’s identities revealed by the Police. LIST of documents seized by the Greek authorities

In the luxury villa in Greece where former Democratic Party leader Vladimir Plahotniuc and former deputy Constantin Tutu were hiding, as well as during their arrest at the airport, Greek police uncovered a trove of documents with multiple false identities. According to the Moldovan Police, many of these documents originated from the same countries but listed different names, photos, and birth dates.

Following their arrests, Moldovan authorities sent additional requests to other countries to verify and clarify the identities and origins of the discovered documents.

Greek prosecutors have issued a 40-day arrest warrant for Vladimir Plahotniuc under the European Extradition Convention while awaiting Moldova’s formal extradition request, as confirmed by Moldovan prosecutors on the evening of July 23.

Meanwhile, Greek media reported that authorities are holding Constantin Tutu in pre-trial detention at Korydallos Prison, the largest correctional facility in Greece. Greek police stated that the Prosecutor’s Office in Athens had previously issued an arrest warrant for him.
