Moldovan Prime Minister Vasile Tofan met with Romanian Senate President Mircea Abrudean and Chamber of Deputies President Sorin Grindeanu to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation, advancing Moldova’s European integration, and continuing joint projects between the two countries.

The talks focused on deepening the strategic partnership between Moldova and Romania, with particular emphasis on Romania’s continued support for Moldova’s path toward European Union membership.

Tofan thanked the Romanian Parliament for its active role in supporting Moldova’s European integration and for the legislative backing it has provided to joint initiatives over the years.

“The partnership between our countries is built on a clear vision: projects that improve people’s lives and a shared future in the European Union. We will continue working to turn these priorities into concrete results,” the prime minister said.
