Chisinau International Airport has restored its information systems but is resuming operations gradually. Passengers may face flight delays throughout the day.
They may also encounter crowding in some areas, IPN reports.
“A gradual resumption of operations may cause flight delays and crowding in specific areas throughout the day. To ensure a smoother travel experience, we recommend arriving at the airport at least 2.5 to 3 hours before departure,” Chisinau Airport stated in a press release.
Airport staff also advise travelers to keep their travel documents ready, follow staff instructions, and pay attention to terminal announcements.

On Monday morning, several of the airport’s information systems went offline. Although airport officials cited technical issues, they did not specify the cause. Images circulating online showed chaos inside the terminal, with long queues forming and no flight details displayed on monitors—some flights reportedly experienced delays. The airport’s website also remained inaccessible for several hours.
