President Maia Sandu donates the “Timisoara for European Values” Award to the organization “Prietena Mea,” founded by Ludmila Adamciuc.
The mission of “Prietena Mea” is to increase the acceptance of disabilities by informing, raising awareness, and empowering parents of children with special needs and society. The Head of State says: “The association “Prietena mea” is the voice of children with Down syndrome and promotes their inclusion to live in harmonious families and communities. Every child needs the love of those around them to grow, develop, and be happy.”
The Association for the Promotion of Timisoara will transfer the money directly to the “Prietena Mea” charity organisation.
