President Maia Sandu is paying an official visit to Kyiv on Tuesday, July 15, at the invitation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
During the visit, Sandu will participate in events marking Ukraine’s Statehood Day and attend the Ukraine–Southeast Europe Summit, where regional leaders will discuss security, continued support for Ukraine, and the European integration of candidate countries in Southeast Europe.
According to the Moldovan Presidency, Sandu will hold a bilateral meeting with President Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the summit. She is also scheduled to meet with other heads of state and government attending the event in Kyiv.
The visit comes as Moldova and its regional partners continue to strengthen cooperation on security issues and advance their European integration efforts.
