President Maia Sandu held a telephone conversation today with Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili. The presidential press service reported it.
The two leaders discussed their countries’ preparations for key democratic events in October, including Moldova’s presidential elections, the referendum on EU accession, and Georgia’s parliamentary elections.
Sandu reaffirmed Moldova’s strong support for the Georgian people in their democratic pursuit and aspiration to join the European Union.
