President Maia Sandu spoke by phone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Both leaders reaffirmed the strong Moldova–Ukraine partnership, according to IPN.
President Maia Sandu confirmed her participation in the upcoming Ukraine – Southeast Europe Summit and emphasized the importance of strengthening regional solidarity in the face of current security challenges.

She also reiterated Moldova’s strong support for Ukraine, stating that Ukraine’s resistance to the Russian invasion also protects peace in Moldova.
