Press: The three scenarios being analyzed in Brussels, if there will be an energy crisis in Moldova

Brussels is examining three scenarios in case of an energy crisis in Moldova, NordNews reports. Journalists spoke with MEP Siegfried Muresan and reported reviewing documents that outline potential developments in Moldova.

The first scenario considers Gazprom continuing its deliveries. In this case, Moldova would require €120 million in financial support to cover costs and maintain energy stability.

In the second scenario, where Russian gas is no longer delivered, but Moldova purchases electricity from Cuciurgan and gas from Europe, the Chisinau administration would need €240 million in aid to pay for energy resources.
