Prime Minister-Designate Alexandru Munteanu Presents His Cabinet Lineup

Prime Minister-designate Alexandru Munteanu has unveiled the lineup of his new Cabinet, which includes eight former ministers who will continue in their posts. The proposed team includes:

• Cristina Gherasimov – Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration

• Vladimir Bolea – Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development

• Mihai Popsoi – Minister of Foreign Affairs

• Dan Perciun – Minister of Education

• Ludmila Catlabuga – Minister of Agriculture

• Daniella Misail-Nichitin – Minister of Internal Affairs

• Dorin Junghietu – Minister of Energy

• Anatolie Nosatii – Minister of Defense

• Alexei Buzu – Secretary General of the Government

Munteanu stated that he will present this team in Parliament to seek a vote of confidence.

“This is the team I will present to Parliament to request the deputies’ vote of confidence. Our priority is to ensure economic growth with a professional government that will prepare the Republic of Moldova for EU accession in the coming years,” Munteanu said.

Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu confirmed that the vote of confidence will take place on Friday, October 31, when Munteanu will officially present his government and program before the legislature.
