Prime Minister Dorin Recean met with a delegation of German business representatives, including executives from innovative companies specializing in civil security, to discuss investment opportunities in Moldova.
The companies operate in cybersecurity, drone manufacturing, emergency management, and protective infrastructure.
Prime Minister Recean welcomed the German firms’ interest in Moldova and emphasized the growing demand for civil security products. “In the context of climate change, natural disasters, and regional security threats—including cyberattacks—it is increasingly vital to strengthen our response capabilities,” he stated.
He also outlined Moldova’s advantages as an investment destination, highlighting the favorable conditions offered by Moldova IT Park and the talent, creativity, and innovation of Moldovan professionals. “We need long-term investments, strategic projects, and international collaboration to drive innovation and boost productivity,” Recean added.

The German business representatives expressed strong interest in the civil security sector and related fields such as information technology, energy, and the internal market. German business representatives plan to explore Moldova’s investment climate and partnership opportunities, including participation in the upcoming Moldova Digital Summit 2025.
The visit is part of an economic mission organized by the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Romania).
