Prime Minister Munteanu Attends the SEECP Summit: Discussions on Regional Cooperation and Security

Alexandru Munteanu participates today, June 10, in the Summit of the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP), which takes place in Sofia, Bulgaria.

During the visit, he holds scheduled bilateral meetings with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and Serbian Prime Minister Đuro Macut. Munteanu also delivers a speech focused on strengthening regional cooperation, security, and sustainable development in South-East Europe.

The summit operates under the theme: “Strengthening Regional Unity for a Stable, Secure and Sustainable Future – Reflecting on 30 Years of Partnership and Progress.” Participants adopt the SEECP final declaration, transfer the rotating chairmanship to Romania, and discuss regional priorities for the coming period.

The SEECP functions as the main political dialogue and regional cooperation platform in South-East Europe, bringing together leaders from participating countries to promote stability, security, and prosperity across the region.
