Moldovan Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu and NATO Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy, Boris Ruge, discussed the regional security context and NATO’s support for the Republic of Moldova.

The Government reported that the Prime Minister highlighted how Moldova’s partnership with NATO strengthens the country’s resilience by modernizing defense institutions, enhancing crisis management capacities, and protecting the informational and cyber space.

“We have the responsibility to protect our citizens and contribute to maintaining peace on the continent,” Munteanu said.

The Republic of Moldova and NATO will continue their cooperation under the new Moldova–NATO Individualized Partnership Program 2025–2028. The program defines joint priorities, including countering hybrid threats, improving strategic communication, and expanding support in emergency situations.
