Prime Minister Vasile Tofan met with Greece’s Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, Nikolaos Krikos, on September 1. The officials discussed strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries in areas of mutual interest.
A key topic of the meeting was Moldova’s European integration agenda. Prime Minister Tofan thanked Greece for its continued support for Moldova’s European path and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to pursuing reforms and advancing the EU accession process.
In this context, the Greek side expressed its readiness to continue providing technical assistance to Moldova to support the implementation of reforms and strengthen the country’s institutional capacity.
The officials also discussed expanding economic cooperation and attracting Greek investment to Moldova, particularly in the IT, pharmaceutical, agrotourism and medical tourism sectors.
