The Bureau for European Integration of the Republic of Moldova signed a cooperation memorandum in Riga with the Riga Graduate School of Law—one of the region’s most prestigious institutions in European law, public administration, and good governance, according to MOLDPRES.
“We signed a cooperation memorandum in Riga between the Bureau for European Integration and the Riga Graduate School of Law—one of the region’s most prestigious institutions in European law, public administration, and good governance,” stated Cristina Gherasimov, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration.
According to her, several Moldovan civil servants involved in the European integration process have already benefited from training programs offered by this institution.

“The signed agreement will allow us to expand our institutional partnership and continue training both central and local officials, as well as experts, through specialized programs, mentoring, and exchanges of best practices,” the Deputy Prime Minister added.
During her visit to Riga, Cristina Gherasimov also exchanged views with representatives of Latvian civil society.
“In Riga, I also held a valuable dialogue with representatives of Latvian civil society about ways to strengthen resilience against disinformation and promote the image of the Republic of Moldova in European Union member states,” she noted.
Cristina Gherasimov carried out her working visit to Riga as part of an ongoing dialogue with EU member states to support Moldova’s European integration efforts. While in Riga, she met with Latvia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braze; Latvia’s representative to the EU General Affairs Council, Artjoms Ursulskis; Chair of the Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee, Inara Murniece; and Chair of the Parliamentary European Affairs Committee, Edmunds Cepuritis.
