The President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, will pay an official visit to the Republic of Moldova on November 6–7.
During her visit, Roberta Metsola will address the solemn session of the Parliament, delivering a speech to mark the constitution of the 12th legislative Parliament. She will also meet with the President of Parliament, Igor Grosu.
Her agenda includes discussions with the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, followed by a joint press conference, and a meeting with Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu.
The President of the European Parliament will also take part in a public event dedicated to youth, organized at the “Spiru Haret” Theoretical High School in Chisinau, the Parliament’s Communication and Public Relations Department announced in a press release.
Roberta Metsola last visited Moldova in November 2022, when she delivered a speech in a plenary session of Parliament, reaffirming the European Union’s support for Moldova’s European path.
