Foreign Minister Mihai Popsoi also urged the Kremlin to accept the truce. “We welcome the progress made in Jeddah by the U.S. and Ukrainian delegations for peace. Moldova calls on the Russian Federation to accept the ceasefire and demonstrate a similar commitment to peace,” he said.
It is worth noting that following meetings between the Ukrainian and American delegations, Kyiv agreed to a 30-day truce in Ukraine. However, the president of the neighboring country stated that the U.S. must convince Russia to make a similar commitment.
