Sergiu Prodan announced that he no longer wishes to serve as Minister of Culture, stating that he plans to return to his creative work.
The acting minister explained that he is currently working on a film project that cannot remain on hold for another four years. He noted that production has been suspended since he assumed office.
“I’ve already said this before, and I’ll repeat it with great enthusiasm — I want to return to creative work. I have a film that’s been on hold for four years, right at the finish line. I will definitely complete it. Returning to creative work is my greatest wish,” Prodan said.
Among the current ministers, Ala Nemerenco also announced that she will not join the new government. The official shared her decision on the morning of October 21, through a post on social media.
