Soon, we will have guests! Laura Codrutsa Kovesi is coming to Chisinau. She will meet Sandu, Recean and Mihailov-Moraru

The chief prosecutor of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office, Laura Codrutsa Kovesi, will visit the Republic of Moldova on Monday, September 2. Justice Minister Veronica Mihailov-Moraru issued the invitation.

At 9.00, Laura Codrutsa Kovesi will give a public lecture to students of the State University of Moldova (USM). She will then meet with President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean.

The Chief Prosecutor will also meet the Minister of Justice, Veronica Mihailov-Moraru. The two officials will attend the Anti-Corruption Platform meeting.

We recall that Laura Codrutsa Kovesi last visited the Republic of Moldova in July 2022, when the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Moldova and the European Public Prosecutor’s Office signed a Cooperation Agreement.
