Speaker of Parliament Igor Grosu visits the Hellenic Republic Parliament from 1 to 4 June 2025 at the invitation of his Greek counterpart.
Grosu will meet with key Greek officials, including the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Nikitas Michail Kaklamanis, and the First Vice-President, Ioannis Plakiotakis, who also chairs the European Affairs Committee. He will also talk with the President of the Greece–Moldova Parliamentary Friendship Group, Vasileios Giogiakas, and group members.
This evening, Grosu will meet with members of the Moldovan diaspora who live, study, or work in Greece.

The Hellenic Parliament leads the 2025–2027 EU-funded Twinning Project to strengthen Moldova’s Parliament and support its EU accession process. With a budget of €1.4 million, the project unites the Parliaments of Greece, Romania, Italy, Hungary, and Austria to help Moldova align its legislation with the EU acquis and strengthen parliamentary transparency, efficiency, and oversight.
