In light of the growing tensions in the Middle East and Iran, Speaker of Parliament Igor Grosu issued an appeal to Moldovan citizens residing in Israel, urging them to remain vigilant and strictly follow the safety recommendations issued by Israeli authorities.
“We are closely monitoring the developments in the Middle East and Iran. I urge Moldovan citizens in Israel to carefully follow local authorities’ guidance to avoid putting their lives at risk,” Grosu said.
He emphasized that the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Tel Aviv remains in constant contact with Israeli authorities and international partners. Citizens who need consular assistance or those wishing to leave Israel are encouraged to contact the diplomatic mission.

The appeal comes as mutual bombings between Israel and Iran continue. Powerful explosions were reported again last night in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, and a hospital in southern Israel sustained damage following a wave of rocket attacks launched from Tehran.
