The State Tax Service registered record revenues to the state budget in a single day, collecting 1.5 billion lei on March 25, 2026—the highest level recorded for a single day to date.
This amount represents a 15.47% increase compared to the same day in 2025, when around 1.32 billion lei was collected, and a 28.28% increase compared to 2024.
Revenues collected on March 25 account for approximately 40% of total state budget collections for March 2026, which reached about 3.87 billion lei as of that date.
The SFS urged taxpayers to fulfill their obligations fully and on time, highlighting that each leu contributes to strengthening the national economy and supporting social programs.
