Students from Across Moldova and Teachers from the United Kingdom Visited the Presidential Office of the Republic of Moldova

Today, the Presidential Office of the Republic of Moldova welcomed a group of students from several districts across the country as part of the “European Excursion” educational program. A group of teachers from the United Kingdom, currently attending a summer camp in Moldova, also visited the institution.

The students explored several symbolic spaces within the presidential building, starting with the first Parliament hall, where the Declaration of Independence was adopted. They also visited the presidential library, the honors hall, and the official meeting rooms. Staff members from the Presidential Office guided them throughout the tour and shared insights about the building’s history and President Maia Sandu’s work.

Now in its second edition, the “European Excursion” program runs from June 24 to July 20, 2025. Over 1,300 children from all districts across the country will take part in educational and cultural experiences, including visits to the National History Museum, Parliament, the Presidential Office, and a movie screening. The program’s first edition, held in 2024, hosted over 2,500 children.
